The Bizen Omiya school is said to have started when the distant ancestor Kunimori of the same school emigrated from Yamashiro Province Inokuma Omiya, and Morikage, who cuts a long inscription such as 'Bishu Osafune Morikage', has been regarded as the representative craftsman. In recent years, due to the commonality of the style and the inscription that cuts in reverse, the blacksmith is a branch of Osafune, which is in line with the genealogy of Yoshikage and Yoshikage. A new theory has arisen that the smithy was actually Omiya blacksmith in the true sense of Kunimori's lineage, prompting an examination of the conventional theory. Osafune Morishige is said to be the son of Morikage, and was active in the period of the Northern and Southern Courts around Ouan.
This sword has Itamehada, Mixed Mokume, Jinie entered finely, Midare-Utsuritatsu with bright and clear Jigane, Gunome, Choujiba, Mixed Togariba, Nioi plays a leading role, with small-Nie, Kinsuji and Sunagashi entered frequently, It works well in sword, Deep Nioi, Nioikuchi is bright, a masterpiece.
