姿Shape

薙刀直し造、三ツ棟、身幅尋常、反りやや浅くつく。Naginatanaoshi-dukuri, Mitumune, standard Mihaba, Sori slightly shallow.

鍛Kitae

板目肌に、杢目肌交じり、地沸微塵に厚くつき、地景よく入り、淡く映りたつ。Itamehada, Mixed Mokunehada, Jinie thick and tightly ,Chikei a lot, It looks faint.

刃文Hamon

刃紋は、互の目に、小互の目・小丁子交じり、棟焼き掛り、湯走り・飛び焼き掛り、足よく入り、小沸つき、金筋・砂流しかかり、匂口明るい。Gunome, Small Gunome, Mixed small shoji, Muneyakigakari, Yubashiri, Tobiyakikakari,Ashi is a lot, Konie, Kinsuji, Sunagashi, Nioikuchi is blight.

説明Drscription

一文字派は、後鳥羽院の御番鍛冶を務めたと伝える則宗を祖とし鎌倉初期承元頃に始まる。鎌倉中期に隆盛を誇った福岡一文字に続き、鎌倉末期に吉岡の地名を銘に切る一派が現れ、これを吉岡一文字と呼称している。代表工には助光がいる。この刀は、備前吉岡の地名が入り建武元年の年紀が入る現存希な長巻直しで、淡く映りが立つ地鉄に、互の目丁子に、湯走り・飛び焼き掛り、棟焼き掛り、足よく入り、小沸よくつき、金筋砂流し掛かるなど、出来が良い名品である。The Ichimonji school began around the beginning of the Kamakura period, with Norimune as the ancestor, who reportedly served as the Goban blacksmith of Go-Tobain. Following Fukuoka Ichimonji, which was prosperous in the middle of Kamakura, a group named after the place name of Yoshioka appeared in the late Kamakura period, and this is called Yoshioka Ichimonji. Sukemitsu is a representative worker.
This sword is a rare extant Nagagamakinaoshi with the place name of Bizen Yoshioka and the year of the first year of Kenmu. It is a well-made masterpiece, such as hanging from Sunagashi.
