The Ko-Bizen school is a school of swordsmiths from Bizen Province that emerged in the mid-Heian period. They have forged many famous swords using high-quality iron sand from the Yoshii River basin. Representative craftsmen include Tomonari, Masatsune, Nobufusa, Kanehira, Yoshikane, Sukekane, and others.
This sword has wide Mihaba, Deep Sori, High Koshizori, Narrow Tip and An older tachi form with a Small-Kissaki. Midare-Utsuri with vividly Jigane.
