It is said that Ohsa's son Yasuyoshi moved to Chosyu and made swords, and Akikuni was Yasuyoshi's son, who lived in Setozaki, Nagato Province, and was therefore also known as Nagato-Sa. He was active around the time of Bunwa during the Nanbokucho period.
This sword, a Nanbokucho period Tachi sword, is believed to have originally been about 80 cm long. The Itame-hada has prominent Mokume. Jinie entered thick, Black Chikei entered frequently, Beautiful Hadatatsu Jigane, Chu-Suguha, Hotsure, Kuichigai-kakari, Small-Ashi and You entered frequently, Small-Nie entered frequently, Kinsuji entered over and over.
