Saburo Kaneuji Shizu was a swordsmith of the Yamato Tegaki school, and was originally called the Bao clan, but later changed his name to Kaneuji when he moved to Shizu, Tage-gun, Mino Province (now Shizu, Nanno-cho, Kaizu City, Gifu Prefecture). inform. However, Bao's inscriptions can only be seen that are older than the first Kaneuji, and all the things that are considered to be Kaneuji's doujinshi are unsigned. Regarding Kaneuji's teaching, he has been counted as one of the ten philosophers of Masamune since ancient times as a master of Masamune. That name continued until the late Muromachi period.
This sword is a Kaneuji work from the Tenbun period, Wide Mihaba, Koshizori-tsuki, Wide Sakihaba, Slightly extended Kissaki, Mokumehada with clear good Jigane and Small-Mokumehada, Jinie entered fine and thick, bright and clear, Gunome, Choujiba and Mixed Togariba, Tobiyaki-kakari, There are Ashi and You, Gorgeous-Midare, Nioikuchi is bright and clear, a masterpiece.
