Masatsune, along with Tomonari, who was active in the late Heian period, is a master craftsman representing Ko-Bizen.

This work is a Ubu-Tachi that retains the appearance at the time of making the sword, although it is stuffed with Nakagojiri. Wide Mihaba is 3.1cm, Deep Sori, Koshizori and Funbaritsuki, In the graceful appearance of the late Heian period, tapered to a small tip, Small-Itamehada-tsumi, Mixed Mokume, Jinie entered finely, Midare-Utsuritatsu with beautiful Jigane, Suguha-style, Mixed Small-Gunome, Yubashiri and Tobiyakikakari, Small-Ashi entered well and elegant finish with a lot of Small-Ashi. Nioi-deki, Small-Nie-tsuki, Kinsuji is a fine product with a bright Nioikuch and elegant masterpiece.
