Yoshihira was the third son of Shigeyoshi, the son of Umetada Akitoshi, and his name was Umetada Densaburo. He initially lived on the platform of a pagoda in Nishijin, and later moved to Higashiyama and then in front of Kenjin Temple where he forged swords. His works date from the Kanbun to Enpo eras.
This sword has Itamehada, mixed Masamehada, Jinie entered thick with clear Jigane. Small-Nie entered deeply, Gunome-Midare, Kinsuji, Niesuji and Sunagashi entered repeatedly and frequently, Deep Nioi, Nioikuchi is bright and clear, a masterpiece.
