Rai Kunimitsu is the son of Rai Kunitoshi, and has the widest range of works among the Rai school. His works range from 1313 at the end of the Kamakura period, through Gentoku and Jouwa, to Kannou 2nd in the middle of the Nanbokucho period. 1351) and is a representative craftsman of Yamashiroden, with 44 sword as Kokuho, Juyo Bunkazai, and Juyo Bijutsuhin.
