Shimada Hirosuke was the son of Yoshisuke, and was praised as one of the three great Shimada along with Yoshisuke and Sukemune, and was particularly skilled. The second Hirosuke was the son of the first and was named Murase Kanezaemon. He received the title of Suruganokami and was active around the Tensho period.
This sword has wide Mihaba 3.2cm, flat Wakizashi. It is a masterpiece with a gorgeous and spirited Hitatsura, Jiba is bright and clear.
