Osafune Morimitsu, along with Yasumitsu, who is said to be his younger brother, is a master craftsman who represents the Oei Bizen area, and is a descendant of the Osafune lineage, which includes Mitsutada, Nagamitsu, Kagemitsu, Kanemitsu, Tomomitsu, Moromitsu, and Morimitsu.
This sword is a rare Tachi with Ubu-Nakago Zaimei, Mixed Mokume and Itamehada with finely Jinie and moist texture, its so called Oei-hada, Midare-Utsuritatsu with beautiful Jigane, bright Koshibiraki-Gunome and Mixed Chouji, Yubashiri, Tobiyaki entered frequently,　It is a masterpiece with a complex and irregular blade, Kinsuji and Niesuji hangs over and over, It works well in sword, It a masterpiece of Shirinosuke.
