Nagasone Kotetsu was born in Nagasone Kotetsu in Hikone, Echizen, and became an armorer in Echizen Fukui. He commonly known as Sannosuke, and when he entered the road, he called it "Kotetsu Nyudo". "Tetsu" is used. His chronological work extends from the second year of the Meireki era to the fifth year of Enpo, and died in Ikenohata Ueno at the age of seventy years in the sixth year of Enpo. At that time, his novel style prevailed in the world, and his skill was highly evaluated as the best master of new swords.

This sword is a wide, shallowly warped Hirofumi Shinto, with Koitamehada,, Mokume-hada, Mixed small-Mokume-hada.Jinie is thickly attached, and a fine and beautiful iron that fits Chikei.
