- 鎬造、庵棟、身幅広く、反り尋常、中鋒やや延びる。Shinogidukuri, Iorimune, Wide Mihaba, Standard Sori, Chu-Kissaki slightly extended.

- 板目肌に、流れ肌交じり、地沸微塵に厚くつき、地景入り、鉄冴える。Itamehada, Mixed Nagarehada, Jinie entered fine and thick, Chikei entered, Iron is clear.

- 国路は、天正四年生まれ、堀川国広の高弟で、国広没後の慶長十九年頃に出羽大掾を受領している。同作には、のたれ込んで先の尖った所謂三品風の帽子が多いことや、銘字に於いてその初期には「国道」と道の字を用いていたこと、また晩年には「来」を冠しているものがあることなどから三品家となんらかの関係があったものと推測される。国広門下中随一の逸材で、その器用さと、種々の作風を示している点からは師に勝るものがある。この刀は、地沸微塵に厚くつき、地景よく入る冴えた地鉄に、食い違いや湯走り・飛び焼き・二十刃など頻りに掛る互の目乱れを華やかに焼き、大小の輝く沸が美しくつき、金筋・沸筋・砂流し幾重にも頻りに掛り、足葉よく入り、匂口明るく冴え、華やかで覇気溢れる最高傑作である。Kunimichi was born in the 4th year of Tensho.He is a high-ranking younger brother of Horikawa Kunihiro, and received Dewadaijou around the 19th year of Keicho after the death of Kunihiro.In this work, Notarekonde-Sakinotogatta,There are many so-called Mishina-style Boushi, and in the early days, ["Kunimichi"] and the character of the road were used, and in later years, ["Rai"] was used. It is presumed that there was something to do with the Mishina family.Kunihiro is one of the best talents in his class, and is superior to his teacher in that he shows his dexterity and various styles.
This sword has thick and fine Jinie, Chikei entered frequently with clear Jigane, Kuichigai, Yubashiri, Tobiyaki and Nijuba entered frequently, Gunome-Midare gorgeously. Large and small shining Nie are beautiful, Kinsuji, Niesuji and Sunagashi entered over and over, There are Ashi and You frequently, Nioikuchi is bright and clear. It is a magnificent and powerful masterpiece.
