Yoshindo swordsmith was born in 1943 as the eldest son of Masahiro Yoshihara (Second Kuni), whose real name is Yoshihito Yoshihara. Received many high-ranking special prizes, including the Takamatsunomiya Award three times at the 1st and New Masterpiece Exhibitions, and was certified as uninspected in 1982. Certified as an intangible cultural property of Tokyo. Aiming to reproduce the famous swords of Bizen, he specializes in a style modeled on gorgeous Shigehana Choji Disturbance Ichimonji, Nagamitsu, etc., and has also succeeded in reproducing the reflection. He is said to be the swordsmith closest to becoming a Ningen Kokuho(Living National Treasure), and is a leading contemporary swordsmith who has received high acclaim both at home and abroad.
