Sukenaga was a disciple of Nagamitsu and was active from the late Kamakura period to the end of the period. He is thought to have been one of Nagamitsu's ghostwriters.
This sword has slightly narrow Mihaba, slightly deep Sori, Koshizori-tsuki, With a dignified appearance with small-Kissaki, Midare-UTsuri vividly with a soft and beautiful Jigane, Suguha-style, Small-Chouji, Mixed Small-Gunome, Small-Nie-tsuki, Small-Ashi entered, Nioikuchi-shimarigokoro, Nioikuchi is bright and clear. It is a masterpiece of work that could be confused with Nagamitsu's later works, such as becoming SansakuBoushi.
It was exhibited at the Nagamitsu exhibition at the Sano Art Museum, and is included in the exhibition catalogue.
